It was a fun minute trying to get a cracker from their foreheads to their mouths.  We will post Part 2 before the end of the year.

Friday Black Out!

Room 2 showed their support for the All Blacks on Friday.  We also helped to support the food bank and brought in spare change and cans of food.   Room 3  came up with the idea and we thought we should be a part of helping our community too!

Anova placed third and Recco and Daniel also gave great speeches that were well received by the judges.  Our class was very proud of our participants.

Baking S'mores

Last week Room 2 made S'mores with ingredients Ms Nelson brought from Canada. We didn't have a campfire in the pouring rain so we used the grill function on the mini oven.  Lauren and Annabel thought they smelled and tasted delicious.  Ms N was happy the fire alarm didn't go off!

Water Cycle in a Bag

This term we have been learning about cycles. Our focus has been the water cycle and weather in NZ.  Everyone in the class created their own water cycle. Students can describe the processes they can see in the bag and they can explain how it is similar to what they observe in real life.
